USER NOTES

Useful notes for hirers:-

Please make sure all lights, heaters and appliances are turned off, and all doors and windows are closed and locked when you leave the building.

The First Aid box is located behind the door into the kitchen, including incident forms incase anyone has an accident.

When arranging tables/chairs etc. ensure emergency exits are not blocked.

Stack folding chairs on trolleys with seat pads facing inwards.

Lighting controls:-

Wall lights are located inside the main hall on the left of the main doors. The knobs control the wall lights, which are dimmable.

Heating:-

Main hall and kitchen have individually controllable infrared heaters. To turn on pull the cord until you hear a click. They have three heat settings, indicated by I, II, III and 0 for off. Please made sure they are all turned off before leaving the hall.

Meeting room has two radiators, which can be adjusted.

Kitchen:

Kitchen appliance instructions are held in a wall cupboard.

The knife drawer key is available from the booking secretary.

Dish Sanitiser instructions

Please note this is a Sanitiser, not a regular dishwasher so crockery needs to be hand-washed first before putting in the machine, thank you.

To use, first turn on the wall switch then press the power button on the machine (between the red and green lights) and it will automatically fill and heat the water. The door must be closed for this.

The green light will come on when it is ready to use. Fill, close and press the cycle button (between green and blue lights).

The blue light indicates it’s doing a cycle. Don’t open the door when the blue light is on. The blue light will turn off when it is finished.

Please drain the machine before turning off at the wall.

To drain, turn the machine off by pressing the power button. Shut the door.

Press the cycle button (between the green and blue lights) and the blue light should come on to indicate it is draining the water. Once the blue light has gone out the machine is finished and can be turned off at he wall switch.

End of Hire

After your event, please put all furniture back where you found it and ensure all crockery is washed up and put away. Please clean all kitchen surfaces, ensure no food is left in the refrigerator, empty waste into bins in the front car park, check the toilets, switch off all lights, lock up (especially remember to close the rear emergency exit) and return keys to the booking secretary as prearranged.
